"Pierre Alechinsky and the memory of the place"

Workshop visit

In 1990, Pierre Alechinsky donated a work to the Réattu Museum, "Sun turning". To make it, the artist criss-crossed the streets of Arles.
Sensitive to the tactile memory of places, it makes an astonishing impression that it accompanies arabesques calligraphied in Chinese ink.
In the workshop, in the rooms or in the museum’s courtyards, let us try the technique of rubbing, explore the posture of the artist, and the ink drawing of China.
At the end of the session everyone leaves with his realization.
