Live Painting by DIRE 132
Coming from the graffiti scene, the artist DIRE has a street artist approach when he decides to paint where he wants and when he wants, or well when he retransmits his style on a canvas or a decorative medium. It is above all this freedom to create that he loves and by which he defines himself. Leaving his blaze has a certain importance for him, that of getting out of the shadows and not remaining locked in the shackles of society. Coming out of a school of applied art, he evolves in web design and graphic design but very quickly prefers to take the path of what his hands know how to do, of what he knows how to make art with his eye. Exiled in the south of France, his work gradually evolves, leading him to find his style, his paw, his signature and it is towards hyper-realistic and amazing portraits paying homage to The Woman that he will turn.
Mixture of acetone and xylene scents, rough technique, opposition insofar as there is a choice between the colors painted in black and white to express, propagate, reveal, claim, testify, show the woman. Support of artistic expression, weapon of contestation, that she is naked where dressed the artist brings to the public space a bold, dreamlike and impudic look of the woman. A feminist art committed to fight against discrimination (violence, beatings, stoning, anorexia, excision...). A universe that aims to be a reflection on the place of women in society, without the message ever losing its strength.
To him, it is more than an attitude or a simple mode of protest. Graffiti has enabled him to accomplish what really matters. Let yourself be carried away by paintings with a strong and deep symbol.
