The Departmental Archives of the Bouches-du-Rhône store various documents that trace the local history, past and present. Among these documents, some are accompanied by seals, these imprints of symbolic images used as signatures. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the mediators of the Archives let you discover the sigillography or study of the seals. During the visit of the reserves, children and their parents will be able to discover original documents related to the theme. During the workshop, they will be able to make their own plaster seal.
Visits and workshops for children from 7 years old accompanied by an adult (limited number of places, reservation required by email at archives13@departement13.fr). Additional information on 04 13 31 82 52.
