The aim of this walk through the streets of the old village is to draw the attention of the younger ones to details relating to the life of the inhabitants, to town planning and architecture.

Les Amis de Jouques

Participants are invited to come to the museum (74 rue Grande) between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm and will be given a questionnaire and the village plan. Participants will walk through the village at their own pace by answering the questions asked and then return to the museum where we will offer them a snack and a reward.
The objective is not competition, nor an acquisition of knowledge, but an invitation to curiosity. Depending on the age of the child, reading the questionnaire and searching for answers requires the help of an adult. The activity is aimed at children aged 7 to 11 accompanied by at least one adult.

The old(former) centre of the village of Jouques establishes(constitutes) a set(group) marrying the medieval morphology of the dividing building in strap and of long and narrow islands. Streets rise in terraces in the slope according to contour lines. The historic city(estate) is on the scale of the pedestrian and confides by wandering.
