Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow Whatever its nature, heritage refers to an inheritance and to the past; it induces duration. Faced with contemporary challenges, the theme “sustainable heritage” links heritage to sustainable development. How to develop responsible and supportive practices in heritage conservation, management and animation? We propose a visit-dialogue that addresses heritage (built, material, cultural, intangible, natural) and new practices from the Vouland Museum. This Avignon museum is 40 years old this year and has a collection of decorative arts from the 17th and 18th centuries, gathered in the 20th century by Louis Vouland in his 19th century mansion! Will we talk about it in ten years? Come by bike: the museum is labeled Home Bike!

In the privacy of a private mansion from the end of the 19th century, the Louis Vouland Museum houses the rich collection of decorative art collected by this passionate industrialist from Avignon from the 17th and 18th centuries. As in the house of a familiar, set in scenes and illuminated to the rhythm of the hours of a day, furniture, earthenware, tapestries, porcelains, chandeliers and mirrors seem to come alive to express the flavor of a past time.
