This laboratory is one of the most important in France. Located in Nantes, near the universities and the Institute of Materials, the 1,500 m² of the laboratory is entirely dedicated to the conservation and restoration of archaeological objects and works of art. The objects entrusted come mainly from archaeologists or museums who wish to have their collections restored for study or exhibition. The Arc'Antique laboratory specializes in the conservation and restoration of the terrestrial archaeological heritage but also underwater.
