This exhibition is the result of the association of works from photographic commissions in these cities and archival images. The new works produced thus fit in the continuity of a close relationship established between artists and cities during this post-war period.

The exhibition is part of CARGO, the photographs of Saint-Nazaire. This is a new photographic event in the Pays de la Loire. Imagined and organized by the association L'art à l'ouest alongside the city of Saint-Nazaire, it aims to bring the voice of photographers, confirmed or emerging authors by disseminating the works to all audiences.
This year CARGO explores the Reconstruction of Saint-Nazaire and its remarkable architectures.
