Screening of André Gaignard’s film "Je t'attend"
Based on real facts, the third novel of the Chemillois inspired the Vihier director. Shot in Chemillé and in the Angevine region, the film called on the actors of the troupes Carpe Diem and Amilys. Summary: The story begins in Angers on July 15, 1942 with the beginning of the round-up of the Jews of the Great West. Isabelle grabs, without knowing why, her camera and goes to the window overlooking the street. Emile, unaware of the danger, opened the door to the landing. His neighbors on the upper floors, Jews, went down, panicked. Among them, Mrs Gosberg hugs her granddaughter Esther. When she sees him, and after a brief look around her, she holds the child to him. He quickly takes it and closes the door. In January 1958, Francine learned her true identity and the tragedy of July 1942. Collapsed, she asks if her spawners have left an object, a photo. Isabelle, after a hesitation, looks for a cliché that she gives to the girl. This cliché will upset their lives.
