Fifty years ago, on January 28, 1972, firefighters in Nantes had to deal with a violent fire in Saint-Pierre Saint-Paul Cathedral. We will use archives and a film to trace this event.

The Museum of Fire Brigade of Loire-Atlantique is installed in the former convent of the Ursulines, bought in 1907 by the City to install there the fire brigade. It took the name of «Gouzé Barracks» in 1928 in memory of its first commander.
