Eglise Notre Dame, Place de l'Eglise
Place de l'Eglise, cheffes
- Maine-et-Loire
- Pays de la Loire
The Church of Cheffes from the 12th century to the bell towers, is dedicated to Notre-Dame and has beautiful remains of quality Romanesque architecture. Carved into a keystone, a blazon bears the emblematic goose of Cheffes. Placed on an older tuffeau tower, the spire dates from the 17th century and is a rare example of these spiral bell towers.
