Two archaeologists within Archeodunum will present the results of the latest archaeological studies conducted at the castle and especially those concerning the southeast artillery tower during its consolidations in 2019. According to an Edit "Ce chasteau fust basti par le Duc Alain FERGENT de 1100 à 1108". Duc JEAN de BRETAGNE invests the castle in 1262\. Four towers are razed. The ruins are raised from 1262 to 1320 by OLIVIER II the Young who built the little Chastel. At the end of the XVè JEAN II of ROHAN embellishes the Logis du Roi et de la Reine, built the chapel and the fence walls. The castle underwent the siege of 1591 ordered by MERCOEUR.
