Giovanni Batistta Pergolesi (Pergolesis) is an Italian composer born in Jesi in 1710. The richness and diversity of his vocal music continues to radiate in Europe and around the world. The singing class of the Conservatoire de Mayenne Communauté offers excerpts from the vibrant Stabat Mater, a masterpiece of 18th-century European sacred music composed in 1736, as well as other sacred works and opera excerpts.
