The gallery hosts the temporary exhibitions of the Museum of Fine Arts. Its shop, open during temporary exhibitions, offers the sale of books and works published by the museum, the Guide of collections, catalogues, art books, posters, posters and postcards...
Mayor Adrien Marquet decided to build this gallery. It was built by architect D'Welles from 1936 to 1939\. Occupied by the supply services during the Second World War, it returned to its original vocation in 1947\. Its facade is composed of a monumental gate surmounted by the arms of the City. You can admire inside a beautiful staircase whose ramp of the eighteenth century was offered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux.
