Located 2 km from Samadet, the church of Saint John is on the site of the old village. This building presents an exceptional heritage interest both because of its set of Romanesque capitals and because of its location on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa, Villa Crédita, and its proximity to the camp of the motte called Camp Romain. A major witness of Landes heritage, its restoration project has been approved by the DRAC, the Bâtiments de France and the Fondation du Patrimoine.
