Come and discover the exceptional site of the Richard Lighthouse. Enjoy a 360° view overlooking the Gironde estuary, its museum and an immersion on a real fishing floor!

Come and discover the exceptional site of the Richard Lighthouse.
From the top of its tower, you can admire a 360° view overlooking the Gironde estuary and the Médocaine mattes. At the foot of the lighthouse, a museum welcomes you and makes you discover the past of the site, the oyster farming activity of yesteryear and different themes around the estuary. The visit is completed by an introduction to fishing on the educational carrelet of the_Richard Lighthouse Community Association_ (with possibility of fishing according to the times of the tides).

Former lighthouse of maritime signalling located on the edge of the «Polders of Holland» of the Médoc including a museum and having a panoramic view on the estuary of the Gironde.
The visit to the site includes a fishing floor, the lighthouse, the museum, as well as comments on the environment, fishing, oyster farming and maritime signage. It is possible to climb to the top of the lighthouse.
