Only the choir and the facade (this one very restored) have been preserved from the old church. The facade is interesting is a large rectangular bell tower-wall with four semi-circular bays. The first floor is pierced by a bay-murderer full-hanger. The ground floor consisted of a central portal accosted by two side portals, all under pointed arches.
This set, unfortunately mutilated, dates from the extreme end of the twelfth, if not the early thirteenth century. Not far away is the church of Saint John of Bigaroque, which was built for the castrum by Clement V and dates from the 14th century.
