Mairie de Guîtres
8 Grand Rue, 33230 Guîtres
- Gironde
- Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The town hall of Guîtres is located in an old bourgeois house dating from 1680 that belonged to the Tranchère family. Became a town hall in the 19th century, the town hall is an essential element of the Guîtraud heritage. The public park facing it was at the time the garden of the house.
The Hall of Honour of the Town Hall, where the Justice Department once visited, also features historical elements, including four mirror panels that could have been «searched» by the Tranchère Family after the destruction of the Coutras Castle.
