The history of Vicq begins with the implantation of the Romans in Périgord. The dripping walls of the church were built in 870, in an unprecedented device.
Guided tour of the church (English/French) from 10 am on Sunday, September 18, until noon, and extended with a wine of honour.
The association Entre Terre et Pierre, commune of Pressignac-Vicq, organizes the visit of the church of Pressignac on Saturday 17 September and that of Vicq on Sunday 18 September, two churches in the same commune listed in the Historical Monuments.

This church is said to be erected during the 100 years war, and became a fortress during the religious wars. the "church with two bell towers" . This church is registered as Historical Monuments since 1949. You may listen to a guided tour on saturday 17, from 10 to 12 a.m
