The priory was based(established) in 1101\. About twenty regular augustinian canons lived there and harmed(served) the region. The priory suffered Hundred Years' War and was rebuilt at the end of the XVth century; columns twisted by the cloister are typical of Renaissance. In the course of the XVIIth century, the priory knows an auspicious period and its buildings(ships) are extended and enriched of woodworks and paintings(paints). But difficult times return with the XVIIIth century. It is necessary to wait for the dawn of the XXth century so that the priory is repaired and its restoration(catering) continued to leave 1967.
