The first Napoleonic cadastre finally understandable!

The complexity of the 1st cadastre of La Teste has given rise to many discouragements and errors. No wonder it was followed in 1849 by a second version entirely redone, which historians preferred to use.

After a few years of work and exchanges between the Archives Service of La-Teste-de-Buch and Denis Rouet, this conference will provide an update on the various archival documents available.
The reading keys offered allow to make of these documents reliable sources on the town planning tests of the early nineteenth century, on the population and the activities.
