Begun in 2021, the restoration and extension of the former Recollet convent, carried out by the Syndicat de la baie, mobilized more than fifteen trades.
Among them, 8 heritage artisans will be honoured. Through the eyes of professional photographer Mathieu Mengaillou, each of them will be revealed by a face, a tool and a gesture.
The urban exhibition Berregin, presented in Saint-Jean-de-Luz on Place Louis XIV and in Ciboure on Place Camille Jullan, offers a unique immersion alongside those who are preparing the future of the Recollets.
