The entire history of the porcelain industry is told to you. Come and attend guided lectures of the oven and the exhibition «BAIGNOL & Fils».

The Oven of the Casseaux, Historical Monument, is the masterful witness of the epic of the porcelain industry. The exhibition BAIGNOL & Fils takes us back to the time of the pioneers, at the end of the 18th century, during the first kaolin samples, the first cooking and the first innovations in the forms. This presentation allows us to understand how the city of Limoges has developed a whole art, a powerful industry and built an international reputation.

The Casseaux Museum houses the Casseaux Kiln, built in 1904 and which today is a Historical and Technical site dedicated to the porcelain of Limoges. This 19th-century industrial building traces the evolution of manufacturing and testifies to the difficulties and successes in this quest for fire control.
This associative museum, created in the 1980s by the union of industrialists passionate about history and heritage, literally takes its visitors on a journey through time.
Located on a historic site, this imposing 19th century industrial building with remarkable architecture is a true witness of human and technical prowess in the history of the porcelain industry. The presence of period machines diffuses an authentic atmosphere whose centerpiece is discovered in its heart: the oven of the Casseaux.
Classified as a Historic Monument in 1987 for its ingenuity and the human and industrial symbol it represents, it is the only round inverted flame oven still standing in France. Built in 190
