Take part in «Cantèra» with the workshops of the Conservatoire des Landes and Gascon Lanas. Then, traditional music with a unique concert.

  • 5pm: Cantem Amassa!! Let’s sing together.
    Moment of «Cantèra» with the singers of the workshops of the Conservatoire des Landes and Gascon Lanas. Immerse yourself in the polyphony, and feel free to enter into the song.
  • 6.30 pm: Bal Gascon.
    Come dance, sing, listen, this creation around the repertoire of Gascogne. Rondèus, Congòs, Branlos... The teachers of the Department of Traditional Music and Dance of the Conservatoire des Landes will offer you this unique concert/ball as part of the Heritage Days. With Matiu Dufau, Simon Guillaumin, Cécile Ibarrat, Martin Lassouque and Eric Oberlé.
    In partnership with the Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse des Landes.

The building(ship) of archives was built in 2007 by the architect Nathalie Larradet on the site of the old(former) barracks Grove. Dating the 19th century, she(it) was rehabilitated to become the centre of preservation of archives. A surface of 5113 m ², 17 km of shelving. The glassy facade represents the eight centuries of history(story) of the department.
