The medieval camp consists of several echopppes that will transport you to the heart of the Middle Ages and its legends:
Forge: Demonstration on a medieval replica and realization of everyday objects.
Excalibur: The bravest will put their bravery to the test by trying to extract Excalibur from his rock, they will take an oath to put on a knight’s tabard and by becoming herald of arms they will discover the art of heraldism.

Games of address and memory, from 6 years
Sherwood: The most fearless will go to the forest to join the outlaws of Sherwood in the company of Robin Hood, they will show their ability to archery, their dexterity to get out of the castle of Prince John and their skill to capture the sheriff.

Forgotten Items: Help Robin Hood to return to each craftsman the objects that the sheriff stole from them! By sharing anecdotes, learn about the use of many forgotten and unusual objects that are presented to you.
Playful game to discover real old objects and their usefulness.

Dominating the valley of Dropt, the Castle of Duras is a place steeped in history. From the castrum of the XIIth century in the pleasure house of the XVIIIth century, be allowed take by the architecture of places and by the animated history(story) of the Lords de Duras. The first castle was built in 1137 on a rocky spur by Guillaume Amanieu viscount of Besaume, of Benauges and of Gabardan. The end of war in Castillon the Battle would have been able to inaugurate a peace area, that's not the case! Partly destroyed in French Revolution and used(worn out) by time(weather), the Castle is finally acquired(finally bought back) by the inhabitants of the municipality at the end of 1960s during an auction. After forty years of restoration(catering) it is an inescapable(major) during your passage in the region.
