This farm includes many buildings that delimit a closed courtyard having in its center a dovecote.
Some constructions, notably the dovecote, were already present on the plans of the register of the Rotz rent extracts (1387).
The religious of Saint-Ouen possessed a dovecote by virtue of a right granted to them by the White Queen of Castile during the Second Regency (1250).
In Normandy, the right to have a dovecote was a privilege; you had to own a haubert fief and own 200 to 600 hectares of land.
It was a highly regulated feudal right and an undeniable mark of nobility. The right of dovecote was passed down from generation to generation to the elder.
The eco-museum gathers ancient agricultural tools and also objects related to the everyday life of the farms of yesteryear: for example a remarkable bed of the groom who served him in the stable to stay with the horses...
