This former Benedictine abbey was founded in 1056 by the lords of The Hague of the Well. The vault on ribbed ribs of his church is one of the oldest in the world. The building has gone through time and suffered during the great conflicts: hundred years war, World War II... Almost completely destroyed in 1944, it was rebuilt identically after 13 years of work by Yves-Marie Froidevaux, chief architect of historical monuments. After the Revolution, the conventual buildings became private property. However, the cloister and the gardens are discovered during guided tours.
