Annick Perrot, historian and winner of the Cotentin literary prize for her book "Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue et ses gens de mer" takes you through time to make you relive the battle of the Hougue, the construction of the sentinel towers designed by Vauban to protect the bay and their incorporation many years later on the Atlantic Wall during World War II. Vauban Towers have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008.

Visits to the Hougue Tower: built from 1694 to 1699 under the direction of Benjamin de Combes, to "protect the most beautiful harbour in France" according to the expression of Vauban, she is registered with her twin sister of Tatihou at UNESCO, since 2008\.
