The abbey Benedictine Saint-Georges, based(established) in 1113, is built on a hillside near the edges of the Seine. The chapter house is the XIIIth century, the monastic building(ship) of the end of the XVIIth century, the monastic garden of 4 hectares was reconstructed in the spirit of the XVIIth century. All 4 sundials and a plant maze were recently installed(settled).
