Presentation of the diagnosis conducted by Inrap in 2022 in Cherbourg, on the route of the New Generation Bus, as part of the Week of Mobility organized by the Communauté d'agglomération du Cotentin.
Exhibition/ Meeting «Under the bus line, archaeological remains»
Upstream of the road works linked to the development of the urban transport network Cap Cotentin, the Inrap archaeologists conducted an archaeological diagnosis. They uncovered remains from the Gallo-Roman era until the Second World War. A meeting time around a selection of objects from the ground is proposed, to learn more about this past that resurfaces.
