The town of Fleury-la-Forêt, a rural village in the Eure region, is taking part in the Heritage Days for the first time. For this occasion, the church will dress with its most beautiful lights at nightfall. From 17:00, a track game will be offered, with a reward at the key!
And finally, a fireworks display will be fired at 23:00 on the municipal stadium.
A torchlight retreat is planned at 10:15 pm with a departure from the church square.

The Royal Abbey of Saint-Denis has been protecting the parish of Fleury-la-Forêt since the 8th century. The origins of the present sanctuary are in the 12th century. As early as 1284, the sons of Saint Benoit cede their lands from the Norman Vexin. The modest building dedicated to Saint Denis and Saint Brice was a victim of the misfortunes of the time (Hundred Years' Wars, religious struggles) and then resumed a new life in the sixteenth century. The sanctuary will then be restored and enlarged in the shape of a Latin cross. This charming church still has interesting furniture. The vast ship of Saint-Denis-Saint-Brice anchored in the centre of the agglomeration of Fleury-la-Forêt in the parish enclosure (former cemetery) which has become public square, watches over its inhabitants for eight centuries who knew how to maintain and preserve a religious heritage, and artistic admired by all.
