DRAMANE DEMBELE
For this impromptu, Dramane Dembele adapts his repertoire in an acoustic version for a privileged encounter as close as possible to the music.
Its ambition is to revisit the traditional West African repertoire. Open to sound and aesthetic experiments, Dramane Dembele is in search of harmony between bush and city, tradition and modernity. Alone on stage, he creates with his flutes, n'goni and percussions, a dance of acoustic flavors, jazz, afrobeat, Mandingo music.
As a side note to "L'impromptu de Versailles", an improvised piece by Molière for Louis XIV, «les impromptus» play out in a playful, unexpected and spontaneous way the artistic identity of the festival in reference to the magical opera "La Toison d'or" by Corneille created in the Old TownCastle in 1660, between theatre, music and wonderful travel…
