Deborah, Patrice und François, die drei Musiker von Atlantis arbeiten seit vielen Jahren zusammen und treten sowohl in Frankreich als auch im Ausland auf. Atlantis gibt es seit 1998, aber es dauerte bis zu diesem Jahr, bis ihr Repertoire reifte und sich entschied, auf der Bühne aufzutreten und ihr Debütalbum aufzunehmen. Ihr Jazz-Folk-Repertoire umfasst Originalkompositionen auf der Grundlage englischer und französischer Texte (Emily Dickinson, E.E. Cummings, W.H. Auden...) arrangierter Jazzstandards sowie Coverversionen (Joni Mitchell, Tim Buckley, The National...). Die samtige und feurige Stimme von Déborah Lennie und der feine und intensive Touch von François Chesnel treffen sich im Zwischenraum von Patrice Grentes quirligem und feurigem Spiel und ihrem magischen Kontrabass. Deborah, Patrice and François, the three Atlantis musicians have been working together for many years, performing both in France and abroad. If Atlantis exists since 1998, it took them until this year to mature their repertoire and decide to perform on stage and record their first album. Their jazz-folk repertoire includes original compositions based on English and French texts (Emily Dickinson, E.E. Cummings, W.H. Auden...) arranged jazz standards as well as covers (Joni Mitchell, Tim Buckley, The National...). Deborah Lennie’s velvety and fiery voice and François Chesnel’s fine and intense touch meet in the interstice of Patrice Grente’s exhilarating and spirited play and his magical double bass. Debora, Patrice e François, i tre musicisti di Atlantide lavorano insieme da molti anni, esibendosi sia in Francia che all'estero. Se Atlantis esiste dal 1998, ci sono voluti fino a quest'anno per maturare il loro repertorio e decidere di esibirsi sul palco e registrare il loro primo album. Il loro repertorio jazz-folk comprende composizioni originali basate su testi inglesi e francesi (Emily Dickinson, E.E. Cummings, W.H. Auden...) standard jazz arrangiati e cover (Joni Mitchell, Tim Buckley, The National...). La voce vellutata e infuocata di Déborah Lennie e il tocco finale e intenso di François Chesnel, si incontrano nell'interstizio del gioco ansimante e focoso di Patrice Grente e del suo contrabbasso magico. Déborah, Patrice et François, les trois musiciens d'Atlantis travaillent ensemble depuis de nombreuses années, se produisant à la fois en France et à l'étranger. Si Atlantis existe depuis 1998, il leur a fallu jusqu'à cette année pour faire mûrir leur répertoire et décider de se produire sur scène et d'enregistrer leur premier album.
Leur répertoire jazz-folk comprend des compositions originales basées sur des textes anglais et français (Emily Dickinson, E.E. Cummings, W.H. Auden...) des standards de jazz arrangés ainsi que des reprises (Joni Mitchell, Tim Buckley, The National...).
La voix veloutée et enflammée de Déborah Lennie et le touchée fin et intense de François Chesnel, se rencontrent dans l'interstice du jeu haleureux et fougueux de Patrice Grente et sa contrebasse magique.
Leur premier album est prévu en 2023.
