Parish church realised by the architect Daniel Michelin and inaugurated by the cardinal Feltin on December 18th, 1966 and dedicated in 1967\. First Parisian church implementing the recommendations of the council Vatican City II. Two brass statues of Jean Cattant, two stained-glass windows of Isabel Rouault. The Way of the Cross(long, hard way) on plates(patches) of lava peppered with Francesca warrior. Big(Great) organs Beuchet-Debierre (1967). Tapestry of Gobelins weaved on a cardboard(box) of the painter Singier. Crucifix in the centre of the chorus(choir) of Mgr Michel Aupetit. Patchworks embroidered by the workshops(studios) of Saint Marcel. In 1992, Jean, the son of Daniel Michelin, begins(undertakes) the realisation of the whole portail-clocher-narthex. The silhouette of saint Marcel appears in the stained-glass window which adorns the facade and the external glass roof are of Henry Guerin (1993). The church keeps(preserves) the relics of saint Marcel, 9th bishop of Paris and co-boss of the city.
