Residence of the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
… the soul has never been able to wrap itself on more fiery rods… J.K. Huysmans, There
From September 17 to November 13, 2022, in the residence of the Luxembourg Embassy in Paris, the exhibition Interiors presents the work of photographer Éric Chenal. In this intimate setting, the spaces photographed in the Wiltheim wing of the National Museum of History and Art, at the Villa Pétrusse (Luxembourg City) and at the Hotel Wolfers (Elsene, Belgium) draw an initiatory path. Where places act as metaphors for moods.
Winner of the National Audiovisual Centre grant in 2021, Éric Chenal exhibits for the first time the fruit of this work as well as unpublished works. This unique event will be open to the public only on the occasion of private visits offered as part of the European Heritage Days (17 & 18 September).
