The park of the castle with an area of 45 hectares. You can stroll along the pool, contemplate the ruins of the castle, admire the commons and gardens, or simply for the pleasure of the walk. Of the castle of Coupvray, we know neither the architect nor the exact dates of its construction but everything suggests that the sponsor was Hercule de Rohan at the end of the sixteenth century and that its construction was completed in 1603\. For two centuries, the estate was owned by the Rohan-Guéméné house, until it was sold in 1791 to the Tourteau brothers by the Cardinal of Strasbourg. The latter became famous in the "affair of the Queen’s necklace". The Marquis Tourteau d'Orvilliers expanded the park and completed an "English-style" development begun at the end of the 18th century. Étienne de Turenne inherited the estate.
