Opening of the exhibition of Agata Szczypinska
As part of the European Heritage Days, the City of Orgeval hosts the photographic exhibition «Magic Garden», created by the artist Agata Szczypinska. The occasion to celebrate the Orgevalais natural heritage.
Endowed with a solid theoretical foundation in iconography and image aesthetics, Agata Szczypinska has been practicing photography since childhood. Particularly interested in the «reality» represented IN and BY an image, she presents in the series «Magic Garden», another alternative reality to ours, that of the «ultraviolet reality».
The flowers presented, picked in his garden orgevalais and in the surrounding nature, were photographed using a particular technique, that of ultraviolet induced fluorescence, called UVIVF (Ultraviolet Induced Visible Fluorescence), which captures invisible light waves in daylight. The results are always a discovery full of colors, surprises and wonder.
The municipality invites the Orgevalais to discover the 30 panels displayed on the gates of the City Hall Park, from September 17, 2022 to June 30, 2023. They are also invited to the opening of the exhibition which will take place on Saturday 17 September at 6 pm. This will be an opportunity for the artist to present his work to them.
