For the European Heritage Days in 2022, Jossigny Castle welcomes Anna L'Hospital, contemporary artist and performer. By combining the original technique of the imprint with that of drawing, the artist offers us a rereading of the places in which, installations and works realized in situ underline the features of the everyday object and those of an 18th century residence. The route unfolds in the historic rooms of the castle, the orangery and the chapel.

Exceptionally open for European Heritage Days. The castle of Jossigny was built in 1753 for Claude-François Leconte des Graviers, councillor in the Fifth Chamber of Inquiries of the Parliament of Paris, by the architect Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne (1711 – 1778), last of the illustrious Mansart dynasty. Located 32 kilometres east of Paris and 6 kilometres south of Lagny-sur-Marne, It is a precious testimony of the architecture of a mid-eighteenth century rock house in all that it has of most charming and picturesque. At the end of the sixteenth century the domain of Jossigny enters into the heritage of the family of Bragelongue , It is by a complex game of alliances that it fell in the nineteenth century to the family De Roig. Baron Guy-François donated it to the state in 1949, retaining the usufruct until his death in 1975\. The estate is now managed by the National Monuments Centre.
