Das Jahr 2021-2022 markierte den 20. Jahrestag der Gründung des Nationalen Instituts für Kunstgeschichte. Zu diesem Zweck sind Historikerinnen und Kunsthistoriker auf 20 Bilder zurückgekehrt, die in den letzten 20 Jahren geprägt haben, 20 Videos, die während der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes in der Galerie Colbert gezeigt werden.
Die Kunstgeschichte ist dieses faszinierende Werkzeug, mit dem wir die Welt auf andere Weise lesen können, indem wir ihre vielfältigen sensiblen Ausdrücke durchgehen. Vom Windows XP-Hintergrund über den Brand in Notre-Dame bis hin zum Cover einer New Order-Disc, einer Euro-Banknote und TGV-Lampen.
Von der Architektur über Malerei, Film oder Fotografie bis hin zur Mode geht es darum, zu zeigen, dass die Forschung in der Kunstgeschichte an allen sensiblen und visuellen Ausdrucksformen interessiert ist, Wir sprechen also über unser Leben und unsere Phantasien in ihren prosaischsten Dimensionen als die unerwartetsten: Alle Bilder haben eine Geschichte - und alle unsere Geschichten bestehen aus Bildern.

In 2021, the National Institute of Art History celebrated its 20th anniversary. We invite you to see the 20 videos of 20 visual objects analyzed and commented by 20 art historians and historians.

2021-2022 marked the 20th anniversary of the creation of the National Institute for Art History. To this end, art historians have returned to 20 images that have marked the last 20 years, 20 videos that are projected in the Colbert gallery during the European Heritage Days.
The history of art constitutes this fascinating tool that allows us to read the world differently, through its multiple sensitive expressions. From the Windows XP wallpaper to the Notre-Dame fire, from the cover of a New Order disc, to a euro zone bank note, to the TGV lamps.
From architecture to fashion, painting, cinema or photography, it is a question of showing that research in art history is interested in all sensitive and visual expressions, and thus tells us about our lives and our imaginations in their most prosaic and unexpected dimensions: all images have a history – and all our stories are made up of images.

L'anno 2021-2022 ha segnato i 20 anni dalla creazione dell'Istituto Nazionale di Storia dell'Arte. A tal fine, storici dell'arte e storici sono tornati su 20 immagini che hanno segnato negli ultimi 20 anni, 20 video che vengono proiettati nella galleria Colbert durante le Giornate europee del patrimonio.
La storia dell'arte è uno strumento affascinante che ci permette di leggere il mondo in modo diverso, attraverso le sue molteplici espressioni sensibili. Dallo sfondo di Windows XP all'incendio di Notre-Dame, dalla copertina di un disco di New Order, a una banconota dell'Eurozona, alle lampade TGV.
Dall'architettura alla moda passando per la pittura, il cinema o la fotografia, si tratta di dimostrare che la ricerca in storia dell'arte si interessa a tutte le espressioni sensibili e visive, E così ci parla delle nostre vite e dei nostri immaginari nelle loro dimensioni più prosaiche come le più inaspettate: tutte le immagini hanno una storia - e tutte le nostre storie sono costituite da immagini.

À cet effet, des historiennes et historiens de l’art sont revenus sur 20 images qui ont marqué ces 20 dernières années, 20 vidéos qui sont projetées dans la galerie Colbert pendant les Journées européennes du patrimoine.
L’histoire de l’art constitue cet outil fascinant qui nous permet de lire le monde autrement, en passant par ses multiples expressions sensibles. Du fond d’écran Windows XP à l’incendie de Notre-Dame, de la pochette d’un disque de New Order, à un billet de banque de la zone euro, aux lampes TGV.
De l’architecture à la mode en passant par la peinture, le cinéma ou la photographie, il s’agit de montrer que la recherche en histoire de l’art s’intéresse à toutes les expressions sensibles et visuelles, et nous parle donc de nos vies et de nos imaginaires dans leurs dimensions les plus prosaïques comme les plus inattendues : toutes les images ont une histoire – et toutes nos histoires sont constituées d’images.
