Each year, the association La Riobé and La Brie Nangissienne organize original activities to discover the Gallo-Roman site of Châteaubleau. This year, a special emphasis is given to the visual and graphic arts. Discover an exhibition by cartoonist Stéphane Drillon on the heritage of Brie Nangissiena, as well as the comic strip "La Dame de Riobé" newly published by the association Gallia Vetus. A ceremony with elected officials and residents is scheduled for Sunday, September 18 at 3:30 pm, followed by a concert and a glass of friendship. All this is happening in Châteaubleau!

The main archaeological sites: - Temples or fana Excavated from 1990 to 1995, this cult complex was built in the immediate vicinity of the theatre. It underwent several phases of construction and development until the middle of the fourth century AD. This sanctuary consists of an alignment of several small square temples (fana): three in the second century, then four from the following century. - Theatre The building forms a semi-circle of 80m in diameter. The cavea, the space occupied by the bleachers, was created from land brought back to obtain the slope necessary for the installation of the seats. The spectators reached the bleachers through five vomitories, open access corridors each with four side stairways arranged opposite. The scene was small. The entire perimeter of the orchestra floor was paved with limestone blocks, intended to facilitate movement or to install seats for notables.
