From 1950 to 1980, more than 700 housing projects were registered in the territory of Fontenay-aux-Roses. Most of them were carried out. This exhibition, based on the plans kept in the Municipal Archives, presents a selection of these constructions. We find local entrepreneurs (Alalinarde, Boncorps, Flécheau, etc.) but also dozens of architects including Marcel Astorg, Henri Colboc, René Loiseau (subdivision of Parc de Sceaux), Claude Parent, André Wogenscky (deputy of Le Corbusier).
From self-building to the most modern villas, it is also a matter of rediscovering a singular heritage that we no longer know how to look at.
