The Stanzi Quartet will be the guest of the Association des Amis du Couvent de Saint-Denis. With flute on ancient instruments, the quartet will play excerpts from Mozart’s The Enchanted Flute, moving through the audience to which it addresses directly to tell passages of the story, highlighting the different affects of each air, the characters' feelings.

Visit of the former convent of the Ursulines. Acquired by Ursuline sisters in 1628, completed in 1640, this convent housed the future King Louis XIV in 1652 during the Fronde. The mother of King Anne of Austria to thank the Ursulines exonerated them of taxes for a while. The convent, which became national property in 1789, will continue to operate under the direction of a superior mother until the sale of the property in 1840 to a Parisian developer who will transform the convent into apartments (70 currently) and bring down the church and part of the cloister.
