Characterized by its strong experiential dimension, the exhibition Up to Space invites young and old to put themselves in the skin of an astronaut thanks to the many interactive devices that compose it: simulator of lunar steps in microgravity, touch lunar and martian rocks, distorting mirror reflecting facial transformations in space, etc.
Many objects are also presented to better understand the unfolding of a space mission. Combinations, space food, engines of all kinds – and even a copy of Jules Verne’s novel, Cinq semaines en ballon, taken by Thomas Pesquet during the Proxima mission – illustrate what astronauts do every day, from training until they return to Earth.
