In partnership with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, the museum presents a concert with two cello ensembles by Marie-Paule Milone and Juliette Salmona in the museum courtyard.

Built in 1830 at the heart of the named(appointed) district New Athens ", this house, house of the painter Ary Scheffer is since 1983 a museum of the Ville de Paris devoted to the evocation of the artistic and literary life of the first half of the XIXth century. A discreet path laid with cobblestones lined with hundred-year-old locust trees leads(drives) to an Italian-style detached house(flag) with its two workshops(studios), its court(yard) laid with cobblestones and the garden full of flowers of pink(roses) and of lilacs which kept(preserved) the romantic flavour(perfume) of former days. Paintings(Paints), sculptures and objects of the painter Ary Scheffer and his contemporaries contribute to evoke the atmosphere of lounges(shows) under the Restoration and the July Monarchy. Memories(Souvenirs) and memorabilia of George Sand - furniture(pieces of furniture), paintings(boards), works of art and jewels(jewellery) having belonged to the novelist, symbol of the modern woman - are also presented.
