Guided tour of the Departmental Archives of the North
Departmental archives/ Sustainable heritage, same fight!
The Departmental Archives have missions that are basically part of the notion of sustainability: the collection, classification and preservation of the archives of public bodies existing or having existed in the North, or families, businesses, etc. having an interest in history.
Discover how the agents of the Departmental Archives work daily to preserve and transmit a useful and accessible heritage to all. What means are being used to make a heritage that is 12 centuries old or 3 years old sustainable?
Sustainable development is at the heart of the archivists' reflections: consideration of sustainable development in the construction of conservation buildings, reflections on the selection of documents to be kept, helping to limit the energy footprint of data storage, etc.
Come and interact with professionals on all these subjects by discovering the fascinating backstage of this heritage equipment.
