Last witness to the residence of the family of Carondelet (1491-1621) who gave two presidents of the Privy Council in Flanders, hotel of the superintendents of the Mont de Piété de Valenciennes (1625-1794), housing of the Valenciennes municipal credit director (1802-1843), the last witness of the Maison Cellier (1912-1960) and the Hôtel de Carondelet, its current volume dates back to 1455-1460.
