Built on the plans of architect Lucien Viraut, the church is dedicated to Saint Joan of Arc at the request of the British Catholics of Touquet-Paris-Plage. Inside, the large vessel of the nave is surmounted by a wooden vault in overturned boat hull and lit by stained glass windows designed by Jacques Le Chevallier in 1955.
