Basilique Saint-Urbain

Having dedicated minor basilica in 1964, the basilica Saint urban is a pure masterpiece of Gothic art related to the Sainte-Chapelle of Paris and to the church Saint-Ouen of Rouen. Based(Established) by Jacques Pantaléon, born in Troy in 1185 and elected representative Pope in 1261 under the name of Urbain IV, it was built in the location of the stall of cobbler of his father from 1262 till 1286, except for the vaults of the nave which are established at the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century.
