La Fileuse
26 rue du docteur Schweitzer, 51170 Reims
Inaugurated in 2012, the Fileuse, an artistic wasteland in Reims, is located in the Schweitzer business area. Today dedicated to professional artistic creation, the Fileuse owes its name to the textile activity previously installed on the site. Between 1925 and 1987, the site hosted knitting and knitting activities, in particular with the factory of the famous Timwear brand.
The wasteland is a work site that spans nearly 3200m2 and consists of offices, a living performance rehearsal room and three uninterrupted trays serving as spaces for creation, construction and rehearsal. A space is also dedicated to the arts of writing.
