The Action Culturelle du Barrois (ACB) was created in 1971, and was labeled «national scene» in 1991 when this network was created. Since 2005, on the site of the former Theuriet room, the theatre has been installed in a new building built by the architectural firm AAD (architects: Patrick Fagnoni and Blandine Roche). The missions of the theatre are to support the contemporary creation of the performing arts and the plastic arts and to promote the cultural development in the territory of Barrois.
