Discover the castle built by the famous architect Germain Boffrand.

The guided tour of the castle includes the living rooms, the baroness’s bedroom and boudoir, the chapel with its liturgical ornaments, the attic and the cellars.
Also visible is the dovecote with its boulins and its revolving ladder, as well as the Eve Lavallière Museum, famous actress of the Belle Epoque who lived and died in Thuillières.

It existed at the foot of the village, a medieval castle built by Simon de Thuillières in 1328\. The famous architect Germain Boffrand, whose main achievements in Lorraine are the castles of Lunéville and Haroué, bought the site in 1722 and built his own castle there. The castle is rectangular in shape. The facade overlooking the main courtyard and the village retains a severe aspect with a central triangular pediment. The one overlooking the gardens has an advance in half rotunda which dominates a porch with double ramp and a fountain Louis XIV.
